The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a 40 year old INYANGAKE JAMES PETER, for gruesomely murdering his 70 year old mother, MMA-OFFIONG JAMES PETER at Ikpe Annang Village in Essien Udim LGA.   The Suspect who confessed to the crime has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for discrete investigation.   Similarly, another suspect, SOLOMON ASUQUO ISAAC of Ikot Obok Nsit in Nsit Ibom LGA who murdered his 18 year-old son, IBORO ISAAC, following family misunderstanding, has been arrested.   According to a statement signed by outgoing Police Public Relations Officer, CSP ODIKO MACDON, cases of some family members killing their biological relations have become of great concern to the Command in recent times.   The statement assured that the suspects will be charged to court at the completion of investigation.
