Taiwan and Nigeria to Renew Trade Agreements

Nigeria and Taiwan are set to sign a bilateral contract to boost the volume of trade between the two countries, which currently stands at 400million dollars.

Chief of Taiwan Mission at the Taipei Trade Office in Nigeria, Andy Yih-Ping Liu stated that the trade volume has enormous potential for growth as many Taiwanese investors are waiting for the renewal of bilateral agreement, which would provide a legal framework for the protection of investments.

Liu disclosed that a proposal had been sent to President Bola Tinubu on the need to renew the agreement to boost Nigerian-Taiwan relations.

He also said while the trade volume of $400m is infinitesimal compared to the $226bn with China, it can be improved upon with the renegotiation of the bilateral relation, which has been pending for the past 34 years.

The Sunset Fire was burning near the Hollywood Bowl and about 1.6 kilometers from the popular Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The streets around Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Madame Tussauds were packed with stop-and-go traffic as sirens blared and low-flying helicopters soared by on their way to dump water on the flames.

Several schools in the area were either damaged or destroyed, including Palisades Charter High School, which has been featured in many Hollywood productions, including the 1976 horror movie “Carrie” and the TV series “Teen Wolf,”

Nearly 1,900 structures have been destroyed in the Eaton and Palisades fires, and the number is expected to increase.

Donald Trump Reiterates Plan to Acquire Greenland

President-elect DONALD TRUMP has reiterated his appetite for the ownership of Greenland for economic security of the United States.

In the wake of his father’s contentious remarks, DONALD TRUMP JUNIOR made a trip to Greenland. The trip has fueled speculation about what exactly his father’s plans are for this Arctic territory.

While reiterating his desire for the Greenland, DONALD TRUMP, the President-elect of the United States, said nobody knows if Denmark have any right title or interest.

Washington has made previous attempts to assert control over Greenland. Back in 1946, U.S. officials proposed a staggering offer of 100 million dollars in gold bars to Denmark for ownership of the largest island on the planet.

Both Danish and Greenlandic officials maintain that, much like the previous attempt that failed, a similar initiative is unlikely to succeed at this time.
