Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio has emerged as the President of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He Polled 63 votes from Senators-Elect to beat Senator Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state, who polled 46.
