Presidential aspirant of the Labour Party and co-convener of the National Consultative Front (NCFront), Prof. Pat Utomi has stepped down for the former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi to emerge the presidential candidate of Labour Party.

Utomi announced his decision on Today (Monday) during the national convention of the party.

Obi had last week resigned from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and withdrew from the presidential race.
