Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face Cote d’Ivoire in a double-header friendly this week.

The first friendly is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 February, while the second will take place two days later.

Both matches will be played in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.

ALIYU ZUBAIRU’S side are expected to depart Abuja for Abidjan today Monday, 24th February.

The Flying Eagles were initially set to face Egypt in a double-header friendly, but the fixture was cancelled after both countries were drawn in the same group for the 2025 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations.

Cote d’Ivoire will host the Under-20 AFCON from 26th April to 18th May.

All four semi-finalists in the tournament will qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup finals in Chile.
