Governor UMO ENO has once again emphasized the importance of farming, urging citizens to engage in agriculture as a strategic solution to address food insecurity in the state.
The governor made the appeal during a media dialogue held in Uyo with journalists and stakeholders, marking the second anniversary of his administration.
Speaking during the interactive session, Governor ENO highlighted the impact of technological advancement on traditional farming practices, noting that home gardening has significantly declined in recent years.
The governor also reiterated his administration’s commitment to maintaining peace and security. He assured that the government will continue to collaborate closely with security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property throughout Akwa Ibom.
