The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as The Apostolic Church, Nigeria, Maboju Assembly in Lagos held a special homecoming and thanksgiving service in honour of Governor UMO ENO.
The service, which took place yesterday, attracted an array of dignitaries, including top government officials, private sector leaders, associates, and friends from Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and beyond.
In his address during the service, Governor UMO ENO described the moment as emotional, noting that it marked his return to the church more than thirty years after he had last worshipped there.
Reflecting on a prophecy he received in 1980, Governor ENO recalled how a young girl prophesied that he would one day return to his homeland and become the governor of his people — a prophecy that has now come to fulfillment.
According to church leaders, Governor Eno served faithfully in various capacities within the church before relocating to Akwa Ibom State in 1995. His return was marked by celebration, testimonies, and heartfelt prayers from the congregation.
