May 12, 2025 Aggrieved UTME Candidates Challenge JAMB Over Results

Over 8,391 UTME candidates have reportedly filed complaints against the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board – JAMB, demanding access to their full mark sheets following claims of unusually low scores in the 2025 UTME exam.

According to reports, the aggrieved students believe the board’s system experienced glitches that led to inaccurate results, and they are seeking full transparency to verify what they got wrong, what the correct answers were, and possibly initiate a fair dispute process.

This is as they insist that the released results do not reflect their actual performance.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Educare,ALEX ONYIA, who is also a software solution for schools, has also begun compiling the list of affected candidates in preparation for a lawsuit against the examination board.

However, JAMB spokesperson, FABIAN BENJAMIN, maintained that the candidates’ results reflected their performance.
