Governor UMO ENO has extended his congratulations to USORO AKPABIO on her appointment as the Managing Director of the South South Development Commission. He also expressed his gratitude to President BOLA TINUBU for the appointment.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, EKERETE UDOH, Governor ENO thanked President TINUBU for appointing  USORO AKPABIO as the pioneer Managing Director of the Commission, and for selecting Uyo as its operational headquarters.

The Governor also commended the Senate President, Distinguished Senator GODSWILL AKPABIO for his collaboration with the state government and for facilitating the appointment of indigenes of Akwa Ibom State into key federal positions.

Wishing the Newly appointed MD a fruitful and impactful tenure, Governor ENO acknowledged her dedication to development issues, particularly in rural communities across the South South geopolitical zone.
