Vice President KASHIM SHETTIMA is currently in Uyo for the official launch of the ARISE Human Capital Development Initiative and the unveiling of the Local Government HCD Implementation Roadmap and Strategic Plan in Akwa Ibom State.

The Initiative is a key component of Governor UMO ENO’s ARISE Agenda, and it aims to build and empower the human resource base of Akwa Ibom State, with strategic focus on education, healthcare, skills acquisition, digital innovation, and inclusive economic development.

The initiative also seeks to reposition local government structures for more effective service delivery, while promoting sustainable livelihoods across the 31 Local Government Areas of the State.
