The Akwa Ibom State Police Command is urging citizens to report sensitive security information directly to the nearest police stations or contact the police control numbers rather than sharing such information on social media.

This call to action was made by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP TIMFON JOHN, during an interview with Inspiration FM News.

According to DSP John, every citizen has a role to play in maintaining security, emphasizing that security is everybody’s business.

She stressed that the state command is proactive in tackling crime incidents and encouraged citizens to reach out to the police for urgent action.

To facilitate easy communication, the Akwa Ibom State Police Command has provided various emergency hotlines and contact numbers for citizens to report security concerns.
