February 19, 2025 Pa Edwin Clark Goes Home at 97

Leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), EDWIN CLARK, is dead.

CLARK died on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the age of 97.

The death of the former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South leader’s death was confirmed in a statement by a representative of the family, Prof. C. C. CLARK, this morning.

The statement noted that the Clark-FuluduBekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town in Delta State appreciates everyone’s prayers at this time, stressing that other details will be announced later.

This comes days after Afenifere leader AYO ADEBANJO’s death. ADEBANJO was aged 96.

Edwin Clark born in May 25, 1927, in Kiagbodo, was a Nigerian Statesman, Ijaw leader and politician from Delta State who worked with the administrations of military governor SAMUEL OGBEMUDIA and head of state, General YAKUBU GOWON between 1966 and 1975.
