Governor Umo Eno today inaugurated the Patience Umo Eno Antenatal Centre, a facility aimed at providing effective antenatal services to expectant mothers.

The centre is named after the late wife of the governor, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Professor. Emem Bassey, paid tribute to the late governor’s wife, acknowledging her contributions to the state’s healthcare sector.

Prof. Bassey emphasized the strategic importance of the centre in delivering effective antenatal services, which will significantly improve maternal and child health outcomes in the state.

The inauguration of the Patience Umo Eno Antenatal Centre is a significant milestone in the state’s efforts to enhance healthcare services, particularly for women and children.

The facility is expected to provide comprehensive antenatal care, including prenatal check-ups, health education, and nutrition counseling, to ensure healthy pregnancies and safe deliveries.
