President Bola Tinubu has reshuffled his executive council members on Wednesday October 23, 2024, sacking five of his ministers. He also reassigned ten ministers to new ministries and named seven new ministers for Senate confirmation.
The President removed Uju-Ken Ohanenye as Minister of Women Affairs, Lola Ade-John as Minister of Tourism, Tahir Mamman as Minister of Education, Abdullahi Gwarzo as Minister of State, Housing, and Urban Development, and Jamila Ibrahim as Minister of Youth Development.
Mallam Shehu Dikko has been appointed Chairman of the National Sports Commission.

“Ministry of Information and National Orientation,” the Presidency stated.
