President BOLA TINUBU is said to reported to in a closed-door meeting with governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting comes after the growing calls by the youths for nationwide protests over the economic hardship being faced by the citizenry.
Although the agenda is not known, speculations are that the meeting could be connected with the planned protests scheduled to take place across the country from 1st August.
Meanwhile, the military has warned organisers of the protest against any form of violence.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General EDWARD BUBA, at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday warned that the military will not allow anarchy to befall Nigeria.
He hinted that organisers of the planned protest intend to replicate the recent protest-turn-anarchy demonstration in the East African country, Kenya, adding that the military has uncovered plots by unscrupulous elements to hijack the protest.
