The Super Eagles of Nigeria who have been Three-time champions and five-time runners-up, will find out who their opponents for the qualification race of the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals are today.
The draw for the 2025 AFCON will be conducted in South Africa’s commercial and economic capital, Johannesburg.
The Director of Communications at the Nigeria Football Federation, ADEMOLA OLAJIRE disclosed this in a statement in Abuja, noting that the draw will serve the 48 countries into 12 groups of four teams each.
The qualifying matches will be played over the FIFA windows of September, October and November this year.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles have been placed in Pot one ahead of the draw ceremony. Also in pot one are; hosts Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, South Africa, DR Congo and Ghana.
