Rangers international Football Club of Enugu have been crowned champions of the 2023/2024 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).

This comes after the Flying Antelopes defeated Bendel Insurance 2-0 in Enugu on Sunday.

The win took Rangers to an unassailable 67 points at the summit of the table after their closest rivals Remo Stars lost 2-1 to Sunshine Stars and Enyimba losing to Sporting Lagos.

Meanwhile, Abia Warriors have secured their status in the NPFL on the back of a 2-0 home win over fellow strugglers Akwa United.

SUNDAYMEGWO scored an early goal at the 4^th minute of the game to give the host a lead, and later sealed it up with another at the 51 minute to make the score line 2-0.

By the losing the NPFL Matchday 37, Akwa United, have now dropped to 16th in the standings with 46 points from 37 matches and a 0 goals difference.
