The Court of Appeal sitting in Calabar has upheld the election of Hon Aniekan Umanah of the Abak Federal Constituency, Hon Mike Enyong of Uyo Federal Constituency and Hon Nse Ekpenyong of Oron Federal Constituency in the 2019 House of Representatives elections held in Akwa Ibom state.

The Appellate Court on Tuesday dismissed the appeal filed by Hon. Emman Ekon against Aniekan Umanah who currently represents the people of Abak, Etim Ekpo and Ika Federal Constituency, in the Green chambers.

Similarly, the appeals by the duo of Ekerete Ekpenyong (Uyo) and Victor Antai (Oron) were thrown out for lacking in merit.
